Here’s a cute pair of low pumps from Bronx Shoes to get us back in the swing of things. They are described on the zappos website as being “Victorian” styled – but I think they look more like a vintage swing shoe from the 1920′ & 30’s.

The temperature is finally climbing, and I am ecstatic! The sun is shining in and around the Chicago area & we are actually going to see temperatures above 50 degrees today! In celebration, I’ve just ordered a pair of these cute “Rant” flats from Bobbi Blu.
Sure, they aren’t high fashion. No four inch heel or decorated wedge. I won’t be wearing them to the office, out on Friday night, or to church on Sundays, but I will definitely wear the heck out of them. I think they are adorable and so easy-breezy, just exactly what I was looking for to wear over Spring Break while hanging out with my kids, spending some time in my yard (if nature keeps supplying the warmth that is), and just enjoying some needed “Down” time.

Mmm, yummy chocolate and pink colors combine to great effect with these sweet d’orsay wedges from Nanette Lepore. I like the brown variant on the wedge, it is very striking, yet the low key hue of pink and brown keep the ‘Flirty Flower’ down to earth. $327 @ bluefly.

The ‘Chiwawa‘ from Chie Mihara makes me think of eating yummy orange cream-sicles on warm sunny days. Also, I just adore how they’ve combined the T-strap Mary Jane with the elasticized sling back for a one of a kind look. It gives us a wonderful one-two visual punch – and makes the Chiwawa a definite knock out! Additionally the red heel tap is TDF. $330 @ habitatshoes.
