Do you have a shoe that you only wear for a couple months of the year? For me its loafers. I love wearing loafers from the end of summer til the snow falls. I love wearing them with ankle pants and no socks… or sometimes with jeans, still no socks. Although it feels too early to start thinking of Fall shoes, it is the best time to start shopping for those essentials that will make your autumn wardrobe snap. These “Connie” loafers from Kate Spade New York are one of those must-have-pieces that you should definitely buy now – before they are all gone and you’re googling, binging (is this a real thing?) and yahooing for hours trying to find the last pair at some obscure online shoe store somewhere!
I just adore them, they are classic patent loafers with the addition of the cute bow on the toes and I ADORE the red!! If you are like me and HAVE to have a new pair of loafers for Fall – be sure to check them out. $225@zappos.

The platform pump from Enzo Angiolini has quite a bit going for it in terms of trendiness, first the blue denim fabric is spot on for Spring style and second, it sports the ever trendy cork platform heel. Besides being trendy & stylish, they are ever so adorable! For some reason these shoes make me think of a sexy 50′s film star stepping out of her Hollywood bungalow on a sweet Spring day. What do you think of them? Also available in black and light natural (but why would you want anything other than the denim?) $110 @ zappos.
Hey gals, wait up just a second — I did find them in Orange DENIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT – I think I may even love them in the orange even more!! Check out the pic below and then head on over to Heels and pick them up for $109.99.

This season if you are looking to add a bit of sophistication to your wardrobe, try adding a bit of flannel wool to your feet. The Kate Spade ‘Bertie’ pump is definitely the “Wow” factor you’ve been searching for! Constructed with grey wool flannel on the outer & leather lining and insole, this shoe is quality through and through. She also sports a lovely tonal rosette on the toe and offers a wee bit of a platform for good measure. The Bertie is also available in Black Suede, but I much prefer the trending flannel. $340 now @zappos.

Another Fall Season is beginning and yet another sweet year for ankle boots! I love ankle boots, it probably stems from my angst ridden teen years growing up in the eighties when leggings, skinny jeans, tunics, belts cinched at the waist, and ankle boots made up 90% of my wardrobe. Of course all of those things are trending again and I’m glad of that – thank God big hair hasn’t followed on their coat tails! Auqua Net and hair teasing in leggings and ankle boots…. doesn’t get more eighties than that now does it. lol
If you’re looking for a hot pair of ankle booties for Fall, check out the ‘Simone’ by Sam Edelman – available in Purple and Black @zappos – $98.95, in Purple and “Brown Spotted Cheetah” @endless – $99, and Black Suede @jildoreshoes – $110.
Rate them, even if you hate them!
