Ok, so I knew platforms were big again this season… but for some reason this pair took me by surprise. I think they are cute enough although I’m not completely down with the 1 1/2 inch platform. They state it makes the 3 3/4″ heel feel like 2 1/4″. I’m eager to see what you all think of them, right now I’m on the fence. So, rate them above and if you love them, you can grab a pair for $629 @ zappos.

The Joelle Air is a lovely Mary Jane by Cole Haan that makes excellent use of pinking & piping – notice how it continues down the heel. Also notice the Mini platform design. An elegant & seemingly simplistic shoe, which upon closer inspection shows itself to be quite extraordinary. OK, well I must admit – when I first saw them I thought they looked a bit too much like a handbag with all the zippers, flaps, and compartments; but they’ve grown on me. There is so much going on with these chic knee boots, yet they remain highly attractive and stylish despite the busyness. I adore the full length zipper running up the front of the boot, the foldover leather cuff that you can unsnap and pull up in back, and of course the little compartments and pocket detail at sides. They are kinda tough, in an “all-dolled-up” sort of way. Also available in Dark brown – 2 1/2″ heel.

I discovered these wonderful Coclico wedge booties this morning at Zappos. The thing I really like about them, besides the fact that they are wedges rather than heels is the foldover cuff. I first saw this style this fall with the bobbi blu Astria shoes and simply adored that vintage look, but these Coclico shoes are kind of a “Grown up” version, with the overall look not so focused on being cute or trendy but instead a bit more mature and substantial.
The lace-up is a great addition and really sets this shoe apart. The color is called Prince black and is simply a basic black leather, which keeps the look clean and sophisticated. I do hope however, that this shoe will be offered in a few more colors, I’d like a pair in brown suede or leather. Get Them Now @ zappos.

I have been lovin’ on this shoe since I first noticed her over at zappos. My infatuation originates from my very sincere like for Think! shoes, the comfort & quality are always top notch. 
I love the full leather sock lining which helps wick away moisture to keep my feet dry and comfortable, the leather-lined anatomical footbed that gives proper support and absorbs shock to keep a kick in my step, and I adore the quirkiness which Think! imbeds in each pair of their very original offerings.
Angie-85261 is just funky enough while remaining somewhat classic. This shoe makes me think of elves with the pointy toe lifted up and curled back ever so slightly, couldn’t you just imagine an elf or pixie wearing it?
The heel is another little twist that makes this shoe so different. It is set back just enough to be noticeable, but not so Out-There that it looks uncomfortable or unwearable.
