Today’s pick is yet another fabulous Ankle Boot. One of Fall’s biggest trends is combined with it’s second hottest trend, Hot Biker Chic! I choose the Newcastle by Chinese Laundry for a couple reasons, first – It is just one super hot bootie! Second, the Newcastle really captures that outlaw biker feel with the double straps, buckles and silver studs – HELLO, can you say HOT! Third, the crinkle details at the top of the boot are reminiscent of the eighties slouch boots but much cuter, and the low heel combines with the look to keep it all real and extremely fashionable. Happy 4th of July. I know it’s a little to warm to be thinking about Fall booties, but these are so beautiful I just cannot help myself. Available in seven luscious colors! The heel height on these is a towering 4.7 inches, with a wedge height on 1 inch. $495 @ yoox.

Much has been written about Crocs, it seems people either love them or they just hate them. I’ve never been inclined to buy a pair, even though the original Crocs Shoes have become a bona fide phenomenon, I take pride in the fact that none of my children (nor I) have a pair. The original slip on shoes were, in my opinion, an eyesore – although I do acknowledge they are held in high regard by many for their comfort & price.
So, now we have the You by Crocs line which are much more stylish and “Wear Worthy”, however the prices are much much higher also. I would definitely wear them, I think they are cute & stylish and I hear they are very comfy – but I wouldn’t spend this much money for a pair of shoes from Crocs, period.
