Another Fall Season is beginning and yet another sweet year for ankle boots!  I love ankle boots, it probably stems from my angst ridden teen years growing up in the eighties when leggings, skinny jeans, tunics, belts cinched at the waist,  and ankle boots made up 90% of  my wardrobe.  Of course all of those things are trending again and I’m glad of that – thank God big hair hasn’t  followed on their coat tails!  Auqua Net and hair teasing in leggings and ankle boots…. doesn’t get more eighties than that now does it.  lol

Rate them, even if you hate them!

Well, what do you make of these babies?  I have been looking them over for about a week or so and still haven’t decided if I love them or hate them.  There are the upsides… like the massive clog action, the cute buckle and the floral material is pretty – but the downside is that if you put them all together  its a bit too much.  They are kind of bootsy in an artful way – but the mix of all the individually awesome details makes kind of a mess in my opinion.  But is it a HOT MESS?  I just can’t decide on these shoes – Tell me, is too much a good thing or a bad thing???  Rate these ‘slouch clogs’ and let me know what you think.  $248 @ Free People.

Today’s pick is yet another fabulous Ankle Boot.  One of Fall’s biggest trends is combined with it’s second hottest trend, Hot Biker Chic!  I choose the Newcastle by Chinese Laundry for a couple reasons, first – It is just one super hot bootie!  Second, the Newcastle really captures that outlaw biker feel with the double straps, buckles and silver studs – HELLO, can you say HOT!  Third, the crinkle details at the top of the boot are reminiscent of the eighties slouch boots but much cuter, and the low heel combines with the look to keep it all real and extremely fashionable.  This bootie is a ‘Shoe-in‘ for your Fall wardrobe!!  Lastly, the price is definately right!  $67.99 @ Heels.  I’d scoop them up now girls.   I’ll bet you ten to one these babies sell out in most sizes!!
